Nutcracker Tutorial this week will talk about the effects available for the new single strand effects

Single strand is released, you can play with it.

here is one example of a single strand that has been made into 4 arches

Is the single strand (target and effect) supposed to be working?  Looks like it works fine for arches but not a single line.  Keeping everything the same, minus changing the model from arch to single line I see this error.

splot '../effects/workspaces/56/TEST~TEST_d_1.dat' using 4:5:6:7 with points lc rgb variable pointtype 7 pointsize 0.6 notitle ^ "/users/meighan.net/htdocs/nutcracker/effects/workspaces/56/TEST~TEST.gp", line 28: Can't plot with an empty z range!

Changing the model back to arch it works just fine.

single strand only works for arches  at this time.

i need to build the animated gifs for window and straight line.

Be aware, there is NO difference in the output between arch,straight line and window,

Those three animated gifs take the same data file and just try to help you visualize what it will look like.

So ...

go ahead and use arch and see if you can get it to import into your sequencer.

I expect the other two animated gifs will be working by tomorrow.

I have added window and roofline to the arches animated gif models. so this open issue is now closed.
