Fooling around with some nodes. Running 2.5.08. Downloaded and put in plugin output folder. Tried just plugin folder. Tried 2.1. All pics programmed. SS channels programmed. I assume if correctly installed the pixelnet plugin will need to be added and checked in my profile. It never appears there as an option. Seems like this should be simple... Any takers?
THANKS!

Do you have it in the output folder under plugins? I have it there and it works fine. I'm running Vix 2.1

Yep. Do I need to do more than just cut and paste in the output folder?
Also tried restarting vixen and reboot machine...

Which plugin are you trying to use?
There is currently 3 of them.
One for the EtherDongle which is Vixen 2.1 only
Two for the USB Dongle which is Vixen 2.1 and 2.5

I am trying to use an old school usb dongle reflashed for pixelnet. Tried both 2.1 and 2.5 with the corresponding vixen platforms. No dice.
I just got my replacement resistors for the eD yesterday and will be building soon.

Put the "Pixelnet.dll" file in the
Vixen 2.1.1.0\Plugins\Output
folder. (Or the version you are using)
From main menu go to Profiles -> Manage
Select a current profile and edit, or create a new one.
Click the output plugins button at the bottom right.
Select Pixelnet from the Left side and click the USE button.
Specify the channel range and go into plugin setup.
Specify the correct com port.
No Add-Ins need to be checked.
Hope this helps

Follow all of this exactly until "Select pixelnet from right side and click use button" Pixelnet is not there...
So, on the sequence plugin mapping screen, "pixelnet" should appear in the plugins in use column on the right? I thought I would need to select it from the available plugins column on left. Pixelnet does not appear in either. Could it be "MiniSSC"? I've added plugins before and was pretty straightforward.
Thanks all so far.

Ooops that would be a typo <fp.
Select if from the left and click use.
If it is in your plugin output folder is should appear in your list.
I have attached my Vixen 2.1 plugin for pixelnet, it works for me.

Brian,
Your dll file works! Well at least it appears there like it should. Will run it later.
That's odd. Wonder why the ones in the wiki don't? Could maybe someone should try them to see if they have problems too? Or just confirm I've lost it ???
Any chance you have pixelnet for a 2.5? ;D That's what I run.
THANKS!!!

Zwiller,
I downloaded the 2.5 pixelnet plugin from the Wiki, downloaded Vixen 2.5 and was able to attach it to a profile and create a sequence.
Maybe something is wrong with your Vixen?
Here is where I downloaded Vixen 2.5

I have also attached the .dll file I used, I only renamed it to distinguish it from the other one.

Brian,
Your dll worked perfectly for my 2.5 install on first try. So I deleted and tried the wiki file again but it did not. Whiskey tango foxtrot. Then I thought maybe it's firefox. Retried downloading dll from wiki with IE and it worked. So it's a firefox browser issue.
Not abandoning firefox just yet but will remember this in the future. Thanks for sticking with me!
I now have ss blinky!!!
