Ray just sent me a update on the WS2811 and TM1804 smart strings.

I have decreased the price a little, and by the way, could you help to tell the DLA user that i will use a thicker wire to make the WS2811 and TM1804 12V nodes, in order to reduce the power drop. Because many customers want the nodes with stronger wire.

Looks like most of the nodes got a price drop.  The regular nodes were around 40 cents a few weeks ago and are now 36 cents.  Glad I waited to buy this year.

Has antone actually checked the wire gauge on their pixels.  I received some sets from Ray a few wekks ago that claim to be 20 ga, and even have 20ga printed on the insulation, but measure out to be 25 to 26 ga wire.  He messed up on the spacing on these so I will return them, but I hope the replacements are truely 20 gauge wire.

So I wonder why the 50ct is $.36 and the 100ct and 128ct is more, or $.38 each ...

Are these new nodes the same exact diameter as the original SS nodes, on the main rounded body just below the LED ?

That is a good question. I wonder why the difference in price.
I would then just buy the 50ct at .36 and hook them together.
I will send Ray a email about that.

they are only ip 66 so not realy good for me up north as they will rust in no time ..they would be good in a matrix as they wouls be cover but other wise i will stay away

What is the spacing between the nodes, I dont see it listed on Ray's site....

I have the rear epoxied variety but the spacing averages on 5" centers. 

The comment about wire gauge is well taken but confusing as I wonder if Ray is using copper clad aluminum wire...

thank you was hoping to see 2811 but those migh do as i am still waiting for my shippent and i pay 40 cent a pixel instead of 36 time to talk to ray

I believe I remember reading in one of Ray's description that he'll make the spacing per your specs.
