checking it twice....
« on: May 03, 2011, »
I built all my LE's and I finally got around to mounting the last few in boxes. I ran them in test mode for one final check and one of them didn't work! So back outta the box it came. I looked everything over well(so I thought) when I asked my lil helper to look at all the joints. She said, this one isn't soldered..I coudnt see it with my naked eye so I got my mag glass and lo and behold there was an unsoldered joint. The moral is, do what Santa says(checkin it twice)..And get some glasses old man..lol.
Its the most wonderful time of the year.

The eye sight getting bad.  I bought bi focals.  It is my hearing.  I can not hear the beeps that phones and watches make if it that high pitch sounds.  Someone whisper to me?  Forget it.  I can not hear a whisper to save my life.  Maybe R.J. can make me a Lynx hearing aid kit.  LOL!

I must be doing not too bad...

I have a Ecodrive watch that has a serial number in really really fineprint under the "VI" (the roman numeral 6)  and when my wife and i got it about 5 years ago, i read the serial number to the jeweler. He responded "there's no way, you can read that!" and pulled out a jeweler magnifying glass and read the same number I just gave him.

Every once in awhile, i keep checking that serial number to make sure I can still read it. not bad for being in my 30's

Paycheck?  What paycheck?  My social security goes straight to the bank.  LOL.  And I got my first glasses around 45 and it has been going downhill ever since although not as bad as the hearing.
