Title: Low Power MR16 has inverted behavior
Post by: rm357 on September 25, 2010,
Hey Guys,
I just made an MR16 without the mosfets to use with some led strips (<100ma) and found that the controls are basically inverted (0=full, 255=off and dims fine in-between). I tried swapping all of the chips with another working MR16 (standard version with mosfets) and got the same behavior, so I'm sure that the chips are OK.

Do the mosfets invert the logic?? If so, is there another version of the firmware to address this?

If not, I'll just order the mosfets in my next order...

Thanks!!
RM

No it is not correct. I forgot that it is that way and no one must of built them that way. I can post new firmware when I get back that works as I did create it.

Randy,

I have noting setup to test with but can you check this hex file to see if it fixes it for you? Should work.

Doesn't seem to dim right, cuts out at 83% and down around 5... Will try another one..

Thank's for looking into this..
