Title: Current draw on AC side
Post by: aERonAUtical96 on December 29, 2012,
I think I read someone in my searches/research that a fully populated hub w/ max 128 nodes draws around 60 to 62 amps on the power supply.  The power supplies that have been suggested indicate an AC current draw of 7-14 amps.  So I'm assuming a fully populated power supply will draw around 14 amps at the wall.  Has someone verified this/have experience w/ this?  What type of configuration are you running and what input current draw are you experiencing?

a lot of it depends on how effecient your power supply is, and how divided the rails are.

a PSU that delivers 60A of 12v and 15A of 5V    will be different than a power supply that delivers 60A of 12v, and 50A of 5v.
