All mpeg or wmv files. Most were built from clips found on Youtube or Godtube; although my daughter built one from scratch. All were edited with Windows Movie Maker.

What kind of equipment does one use to play videos (what kind of projector)? My wife wants to use the lips from Rocky Horror for halloween.

Thanks,
Mike

I use movie clips, Clip art, flash video. I also use some home video. I use Vegas Studio for my editing. My projector is a short throw BenQ.

so, do you use the different pieces to show parts of what the song is about, do you go a different route?

I mainly just find videos like a trans Siberian orchestra concert to go with the song. I have also used high resolution  clips to go to the songs.Just watch some of my videos, and you might get some ideas on what to do.

I try to match something to the song. For a couple of examples; On "Where are you Christmas" I show Faith Hill singing the song from the video sound track. On my "Yellow Snow" I show clips of my families' dogs throughout the entire song. During Intros and Jokes I will show clip art of Santa, Rudolph, Elves ect...

That's what I do anyway.
