Rain predicted for the next 5 -6 days!!! What could possibly go wrong??
Told my neighbor, 'if you see sparks or smoke, call 911'.

Bummer! I am in Oklahoma. Please keep the rain. I do not want it unless it is in the form of "LITE" snow. That would make some pretty videos of my show.

I feel your pain Brad. Welcome to the new Seattle. ::)

Brad,
Since we started running our display on Thanksgiving evening, we have had 4 days without rain. Aside from some soggy ground, we have been extremely lucky and have not had any issues. I may have to spray all of my lights and cords with moss killer before I put them away.

Hey now, I'm originally from Seattle, and I am loving this weather now <yk..
OK, so it's starting to snow out, and at least was sticking out here a little bit.

So far, so good. No rain just wet snow.
It's not so much the lights I worry about, it's the 32 SSR's I have scattered around the yard.

Yes, we had about 8" of snow here last night. Lights that we had out were buried by it, and they looked really good lit up underneath it. Even the life was impressed.

No show for me tonight <md.. my gfi keeps tripping. We had about 4" of snow the other day, the lights on the lawn looked really good under the snow. With the warm temps and the rain we now have no snow. I feel your pain!

This is why I don't use GFI on my Christmas display. They were not designed with this type of use in mind.
