Title: Channel not working
Post by: UncleBuck on March 25, 2012,
I just built my first 3 LE's. I have tested them and everything is working good except one channel. After futher investigation I found that I had bridged a solder joint on the socket base. I repaired the solder joint but it is still not working. When I repair the joint I did not take the chip out of the socket. Did I fry the chip?

Hello
I doubt that you put that much heat into the chip here is a block digram that might help.
Do you have a volt ohm meter?

Thanks to Jess I got everything working. After repairing the solder bridge I swaped the chip around everything works great. It must have been the chip installed wrong.

Thanks for all the time and help.  :)
