Seeing how I am close to Bellignham, I was wondering when the large stores start to sell christmas lights in the US.  In Canada they usually don't stock the shelves until later in the summer, also the prices here are ridiculus.

I think they usually start to show up around the beginning of October.

I heard that Hobby Lobby is starting to put out Christmas stuff now, at least in Texas.  I cannot confirm that yet though.

Hobby Lobby is always ahead of the curve with seasonal things since so much of what they sell is craft related and may take time to create.

I dont' think I have ever paid full price for a Christmas light.   ;D
I have never shopped for Christmas lights other than the last week of December and January.
