Hey Harley.  Im not near you, south Texas, but I do hear Louisiana is a great place to be from  :) 
just kidding.  Welcome to this hobby/madness.  Make sure you attend "The Academy" in Conroe this year.  A weekend of classrooms, learning, and discussions with fellow hobbyists.

Also not from LA, but in Jackson, MS and travel to Monroe, Shreveport, Baton Rogue for work frequently.  I'll be in Shreveport all week this week.  Welcome to the hobby!  This board is a great place to meet others and exchange ideas!
