Walmart LED Display Video?
« on: December 31, 2010, »
Since the wife is giving the okay to build a few initial animated light decorations next year, it is hard to justify the cost of full wave LED's. I was wondering if anyone has some video using the Walmart 60 count LED's so I could get an idea of how they look while dimming using the Lynx Express.

If you don't have an Express and being that you are new to the site you probably don't you can still test them by using a standard wall mounted  light dimmer to see how they react or look while dimming.
If at first you don't succeed,
your not cut out for sky diving

Yep :) They do fine! Maybe not as nice as the high dollar full-wave stuff, but you cant beat the price. Especially if you can get them for 75-90% off. Ive scouted a nearby walmart that has a great stock of LED stuff that is going to 90% in the morning. Thats $.69 for the 60 count strings!  >.d9
