Picked up 60 boxes of walmart mini's yesterday. The start price this year in my area is $2.88.

two years ago, they used to start of as 2.48.

I figured that this year they would be over $3. So I was happy that they were less than that.

How many lights per string?
I noticed with copper prices last year, there was some shrinkage -- 50's became 35's. etc.

50's are $2.48 (incan)
100's are $2.88 (incan)

Hold on to your wallet if you price the Halloween 50 count orange lights.
