Had a horrible season but with a few quick repairs I should be able to run long enough to finally shoot vids. I do this mainly for critiquing my sequencing and setup.
What do you guys think? Pack it up and forget about it or go for it?

Oh, yes, we NEED Zwiller videos, need need need. <res.
Been looking forward to them for months to see what new things you did so I can aspire to new levels!

It would be a shame to have it so close to being videoed as not to do it.
You then have a record of what you did this year and coordinate any changes for 2014.

<np.. or videos
lol

I would take video for sure.

I do video as time and weather permits. For me, it's a reference archive. I can see how I had things arranged (it varies from year to year) and I can see what looks good, where I can add new stuff, etc. It's also cool to see how the show evolves year to year (adding more RGB, better sequencing, etc.)
It's only too late if you've taken everything down.

Thanks. Encouraging. Learned alot of things NOT to do for this year...

I don't know anyone who didn't have one (or in my case at least a dozen) issue. Please share.

2013 seems to have been the biggest problem year for the most people of any that I am aware of. Between weather, new hardware, new software, etc it seems that almost everyone got bit in some way.
-
my thoughts are, it's been such a crappy year, I didn't want to record it, I want to forget it! lol

You learn not only from your successes but your missteps as well. If you have a video record of it then you will be less likely to repeat the problems even if it is weather related. JMHO

Except for a couple of failures of the "first year/breaking technology IP20-something" nodes, :-\ we didn't have a single hiccup in any respect. The biggest snowfall in years. Ice, freezing rain, 20 year-old low temperature records broken, all Momma Nature could throw at us, it seems. All of RJ's stuff performed flawlessly. The "showman" in me was very pleased, the "technical-man" in me is still a wee bit disappointed. :)
