Pardon me but I'm not really sure what the MR16 controller does. I understand it controls floods but are we only talking about indvidual lights shining on objects to provide color or is it used in other ways. I have become interested in flood lighting as it seems to add "mood" to a show, but if there are other uses I would like to know how others use them.
Also I assume since these are LED lights that we can have multiple colors from a single lamp? Which lamp is used with RJ's creation?
Thanks,
Eric

Don't let the name fool you. It is just a DMX driven DC controller with 16 channels. It was designed to both run MR16 lights for inexpensive floods or any other dc load for up to 24volts. I built it for 12v but with a small heatsink on the voltage reg it runs happily on 24volts also.
If you leave a few parts off it becomes a constant current dc led controller for up to 16 volts at 100 ma.
Different users have different things they run with them.

I guess I should chime in.
My site have many pictures of the MR16 mini spots and such.
And I do give DIY members a great price.
Cheers!

Here's my "off label" usage of the MR16 (aka Lynx 16 DC Controller):
