A CCR is made of 50 3-led pixels. for a length of 5 meters. There are 3-channels for each pixel, and each pixel has 3 LEDs that together get the same color applied at once... each LED has red-green-blue diodes that mix to get your color. (I only mention this detail, because when I first tried to grasp CCRsI thought that a 50-pixel / 150-led strip would have a red, then a green, then a blue... then red, green, blue... and I feared that you'd need a lot of diffusion and distance to think that you were looking at a purple and not separate red and blue LEDs. anyway...
When you get a ribbon for the SSCs, be aware that you are limited to 128 pixels (based on a design decision by RJ), so with the 3-led per pixel characteristic you could connect a strip with 384 leds to a single SSC, and that would allow you to have a strip that reached 12.8 meters.
I haven't tried this with a ribbon on SSCs yet... only smart pixels with SSC, and CCRs with LOR. So my 12.8 meter claim is only supposition.
