Ohhhhh I am running currently windows vista, and will be upgrading to windows 8 sometime soon. But is there issues with that directory installing into vista?  I'll upgrade my system after the new year.

I currently have 3.2.6 installed and checked my xlights directory but still no songs directory or songs folder within.  Should I uninstall and reinstall?  Suggestions?

Are you looking in the xlights program directory or in the xlights data directory?  The program directory is created when you install the program, the data directory is created by you.  I have installed 3.2.6 on multiple machines and the songs directory is in every one of them.
