Does anyone know what light this is?

I saw these lights at Universal Studios, while playing mini golf on their "haunted house" course. They are used to simulate lightning, and are VERY bright! Anyone know what they are?

I originally thought it was that light, as I've ordered from fright props many times and have seen that strobe light before. The light I saw at universal, though, didn't blink like a strobe light. It was a bright white flash of light, that lasted a good half second. It would be like a strobe light that stayed on, as opposed to blinking.

That light may not be able to be bought by the public. The light is most likely a high power led, and the controller has been customized to give that kind of timing. The timing could be done with an lm555 as a Astable oscillator. With that chip the timing could then be controlled for how long the light stays on, and how long it stays off.
