I sent RJ a PM to see if he had any dongle cases left. Turns out he is sold out.
I wanted to see if anyone was considering a dongle case coop.
Thanks

Alan,
Is the price on a Dongle COOP worth having?
What is the Cost per case + shipping + the Paypal fees?
<md.. Caliente Christmas <md..

Assuming these would have laser cut openings (or anything better than I can do at home..) I'd be in for 2....
Again depending on cost (and shipping ot Canada..)
-
Alternately I would imagine that there could be two more holes machined on the one end of the case and the LEDs would then be mounted with a 90 deg bend to poke out through those openings.

That's the way I did mine, works well.

thats the way I intended them to be. When the cables point down if used outside water can not get into the LED holes.
Clear covers look unprofessional to me but everyone has they preferences.

Count me in for three dongle boxes if you do a coop. I think a clear cover would look great if they were not to expensive

Folks,
This is not how a coop happens. I understand that everyone is posting hoping if enough people want them "someone" will run a coop.
You have to find someone that will run the coop and then have them ask to do so. Anyone that has been on the forum for one year to have a track record is a possible candidate.
I am afraid it takes people to make these things happen and I believe the few that do the heavy lifting are busy with other coops or other things at the moment. It doesn't always work to post that you need stuff so "Someone" needs to run a coop for it.
This is all run on a few volunteers effort so if you think a coop is needed and you have been here a while offer to run one. You will have to put some time and effort in with only praise for reward, but in the end you help the community as a whole and pay it back for those that have run them so you could save some money.
We would love to run back to back non stop coops for everything but like most of you we have jobs, family, etc and so the coops we do run, ect takes up the free time we can give to it.

I would be up for one case.

A dongle case coop has started and runs through Sept. 15th. You can get cases for either version of the Lynx DMX Dongle in this coop.
Thanks for all the interest.
