Keeping audiences engaged?
« on: January 13, 2012, »
Several posts have talked about what is neat and cool to do.  While the idea behind this thread is the same, I'd like to ask a more defined question:

What are you doing to keep your audience engaged, specifically, what are you doing with your show or in your show that allows the audience to interact with your show?

This is my idea, but I'm looking for others.  I'm thinking you could do an app where parts of the show people can control....maybe a "freestyle" song where people are on their phones turning on and off lights.  The kids would LOVE IT.  I understand that each idea is wrought with problems, but that is not what this thread is here to do.  It is hear to discuss ideas (no matter how feasible).

Anyway, what other ideas do people have?

Video of each song, the kids love it and many get out and dance in sync to the video.
Artificial snow machines for kids to play in teh snow and families to takes picture in front of.
Small riding train (Peg Perego) for the kids to ride.
Large train in the yard for folks to get out and watch and ask questions.
Animatronics with user triggers.

Thanks
Mike
