Mini Tree 2 Mr. Pumpkin Head
« on: September 17, 2010, »
I saw a post that said something about a sheet over a mini tree to make a ghost.   I bought $1 orange vinyl tablecloths from the dollar general and the old 98 cent plastic candy pale from WalMart.  Put the tablecloth over the mini tree.  Cut a hole in the bottom of the plastic pumpkin and placed it over the tree.

The funny part is it has scared the crap out of my wife, son and daughter when the came around the corner and met the thing on the table eye to eye and not expecting someone to be there.  It was not lit up and kind of dark in the room.  <la..

Awesome idea!

I just might have a few mini tree pumpkin heads this year!

Thanks,

This reminds of a post (might be the same one!) where somebody used clear(ish) plastic and spray painted the face on it - he purposely (well I think...) let the paint drip - great affect and all it cost was some sloppy painting!  :D Made his "ghost" look all the more scarey!

I have a friend who uses white pillowcases with a piece of round coro mounted on top for the head, but I like the orange vinyl idea and it is cheaper than pillowcases.
