Palombo Lights 2011
« on: December 23, 2011, »
Here is the first video I've posted for the 2011 show. More to follow as usual once the recordings are edited and posted.
I cut back some this year as I was short on time.  Already starting plans for next year and hopefully will get more RGB in the show and bring back the mega tree.  The wreath was meant for the roof, then plans changed.

Enjoy.

Thanks all.  The wreath is something I threw together on short notice.  No plans or measuring.  It is just under 10' in diameter and consist of two 1/2" pvc conduit put together to form the inner circle diameter and three pieces to form the outer circle diameter.    I cut a frame to support it out of scrap wood and have clamp on pvc "t" connectors and 45 degree angle pieces to connect the inner and outer circles, this gives the wreath depth as they protrude out about a foot.  Everything is covered in plastic chicken wire and garland.  Funny story on the garland, it was a Hobby Lobby buy out at 90% off a few years ago and was just waiting in the attic for something.  Cover in lights, fence post and straps to stand it up and I was all set.  It probably weighs about 200lbs.   I'll take a few pictures this afternoon and post a link once they are loaded to my Flickr account.

Regards,

Tony
