Well the 3rd coop lasted about 2 hours.  Now comes all the whiners to complain about it.  <fp.

Was this a record?

Not sure if the duration was a record or not, but the one request for 86 kits must surely be. Thats almost a coop in itself ;D

I believe the 86 entry was the total number of kits that had been ordered at that point.

86 would be a lot of soldering.  ;D

up to 3,440 amps of power...
my entire block if we all had 200 amp panels would be 2800 amps

but who really uses that much power anymore?  I still run all incand. lights and I seem to be able to run about 2 controllers on every 15a circuit

How many lights per controller?

I'm going to install a subpanel, hopefully soon.  I had 90% incandescent last year and had some major issues.  I was running about 12,000+ lights.  Not an exact count since I was so excited to get everything up within a four week period.  First year.

I plug mine into my flux capacitor.  It supplies 1.21 jiga watts!

Ok. I am not complaining, but asking the question. I have received notifications for every COOP, but this one. Did others have the same issue? I know about others having no notification and had to change their email address, but does that happen all of a sudden as I have not changed anything within my profile and this has been the only one I have not received.

Thanks

Steve

I think what happens is that if you are subscribed to a particular area for coops to notify you, and they end up posting a new coop in a totally different area that you are not setup for notifications then thats when you don't get the notification.   I had that happen to me on one of the last ones.  I have notifications setup for all the coop sections, ALL of them.  One of the coops I wanted to get in on was posted in an area that was in a totally different section so I never got a notice on it.  Same thing with one of my friends. He was setup the same way.  So thats what happens I am pretty sure.  So even if you are setup for coop notices you still have to check the site by chance that they posted the coop elsewhere.

I received the coop notice without any problems. The new coops are always placed in the same section under "CURRENT COOPS". Make sure that you have the notify button checked on the current coops section. Also check your emails spam folder if you haven't been receiving notifications. It does suck that the coops go so quickly, but the flip side of that is the fact that we have that many more new members. All of which are putting smiles on peoples faces. Which is the reason that I put on my show each year.

Nothing in Spam folder and yes I am very happy to see how many JR members were able to participate in this one. I did not order as I have enough for my first year.
Under my profile it does state notify in the current coop section.
Just a weird thing, but I check the forum on a regular basis so it is no big deal.

Got notification, just missed it.  Oh well, hopefully the store will be restocked soon.
