I'm getting ready to purchase my cables in the length's that I need from Monoprice and was wondering if this is the correct cable.

24AWG Cat5e 350MHz UTP Bare Copper Ethernet Network Cable - Green

The smartstrings require stranded cable because they carry power.

For the DMX stuff, you can use just about anything.

Most of the cables that come from monoprice is stranded so you should be ok. Color dosen't matter.

If you are not sure I would paste the monoprice links in so that others can verify the exact items. 

Especially the color of the cables as they need to blend in. :)

And... pick up a few extras.  Rabbits like to eat them where I live.
