Building SSC V2's...
« on: January 26, 2013, »
There is a 2 pin header that says "Program" on the pcb and a blue shunt that came with the kit.  In the build instructions it gave this instruction, "Insert the blue shunt on the two pin header connected to only one of the pins as shown. This is it's normal position when you are not programming the SSC." There is no pic and I guess my question is, do you put this on the 2 pins when you program with the Pickit3 and remove it when it is being used?  I just want to make sure I understand this correctly.

Thanks

it doesn't matter what position it's in while you program the pic with the picit.

It's used when you're using the start string utility to set it's start channel.
jumper across the two pins when programming.

and only attached to one of the pins when in normal use.
To rule the entire tri-state area!  What's that? Perry the Platypus!!!
