First Express v4.0 Build
« on: August 24, 2009, »
I built my first (and only at the moment) v4.0 board of the Lynx Express last night.  I have to say that it is one great board.  The parts count is significantly reduced from the earlier versions and it goes together very easily.  I think I built mine in under 2 hours and I have not built anything for a while, so I was a bit rusty.

Another great board RJ.

Thanks,

We try to make it the best DIY experience we can from design, features, support and cost.  It is all a balancing act. We can do more but it would cost more and maybe not be worth it. We can do less and cost a few dollars less but then no one is happy with the lack of features and the limited ability to expand its features in firmware and compatibility later.

So we shoot for the best match we can. And from the over 1600 Express PCB's that have left my hands in both coops and direct orders for PCB's this year I would say we must be hitting the mark with this controller.

I hope it is exactly what you expect and want from it!

Definitely I get what I want from it!

What I was trying to say and didn't very well the first time was that I have built the v2.0, v3.0 and v4.0 versions of the LE and the v4.0 is by far the best.  They are all great and work well, but the v4.0 board goes together the easiest and fastest.  Love the LE, a superior design in my mind.
