Title: Ambilight with Open DMX
Post by: njKeever on April 03, 2012,
I've been searching for a program that would map my monitor output to DMX. I found a YouTube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qixR0sYb9Tk) that looks exactly like what I'm looking for using a program call "Send The Light." There is a link to download the program in the comments, but I can't find any website for it. When I start the program I get some error about text length must be less than 64 characters long, but the program starts up and seems to work. Other than the fact that I can't get it to output DMX. :D Could someone else try it out and let me know if they can get it working?

Or, does anyone know of another program that can do this? Thanks!

And I was wondering what I was going to do with my Aethers on the off season...

There was related video

but it doesn't show it actually working.  Here is the link to the software.

Hmm, I thought maybe it was a Windows 7 or 64-bit issue, but apparently not. I've tried it on two computer and get the same problem. On both it will connect to the dongle and show that it's transmitting, but the dongle is just lit up solid and does not output anything.
