WTB for Military display

I am in the military and want to get a starter set to make a July 4th display and let it grow to a Red-White-blue christmas display in honor of the armed forces. 

Can anyone help out on a starter set.

Keep an eye out on the Coop board.  There will be some starting in January/February time frame.  I'd start looking into the software you are going to use. Sequencing is going to take up most of your time.

I am thinking of Vixen on Windows XP.

A new version of Vixen has been released.  It is still in beta mode but you might want to download it now and play with it some to get familiar with how it works and how to sequence.  The great thing is that you don't need any hardware to get started.
