Managed to put up at the last minute our rendition of the pumpkin pyramid.
Going to see if any of the Target's still have pumpkins left over and maybe stock up and make a larger pyramid for next year.
Enjoy!

I like that idea! How cool!

Can't take full credit for it as I snagged it from another site member and modified mine to add a bottom row of five additional pumpkins.
Next year I'll probably make another one. After putting together a template for how to lay things out it went fairly quick as long as you have one drill to drill pilot holes with and another to screw with.
Attached a JPG of the layout. I have a Visio file; however, it won't let me attach it according to the allowed file types.

Ok, maybe I'm just stupid but I have no idea what this diagram is trying to tell me. I really like those pumpkins and a closup picture in the light might be great to see how they are built.

Diagram shows the dimensions of the wood needed to create "shelves" to hold the pumpkins.

Ok, that's what I thought it was referring to. How did you create the faces on the singing pumpkins?

They are just pre-painted $1 dollar plastic pumpkins from Target.

LOL, ok.... now I can say that I'm an idiot. I was confusing this thread with another one where the person has three singing pumpkins. I love the way the faces work. I like this idea as well and may set up something like this myself. These pumpkins are much less expensive than the foam pumpkins and the stacking boards will help to keep the rain out.

For rain deterance you are best off drilling extra holes in the bttom for drainage. When you mount the pumpkins half of the bottom is on the board the other half hangs over off the board.
