Is this the file I need to download and install?
CDM 2.06.00 WHQL Certified.zip
http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/CDM/CDM%202.04.16.exe (http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/CDM/CDM%202.04.16.exe)
thanks!

Greetings,,,
Yep, try that. The direct link in the manual looks out of date, if that is the one you originally tried. Other links look ok.

Thanks for the reply.
I downloaded the file CDM 2.06.00 WHQL Certified.zip and unzipped it. What's next? I cannot find any .exe file to run or install. Do I just connect the dmx dongle to the usb after unzipping the CDM 2.06.00 WHQL Certified.zip file?

I downloaded and unzipped the following drivers:
CDM 2.06.00 WHQL Certified
CDM20602
(I downloaded them before I posted my questions here)
Then, I connected my dongle to the usb as per instructions found here:
http://www.ftdichip.com/Documents/AppNotes/AN_103_FTDI_Drivers_Installation_Guide_for_VISTA(FT_000080).pdf
The driver was installed automatically without me clicking anything. It didn't give me any options or prompt as mentioned in the instructions. Now the question is, how do I know that it is working or the driver was properly installed? I have LE's completed already. I have Vixen 2.1.0.0 installed in my computer. I also downloaded a few vixen sequences.
A screen capture of my Device Manager is attached.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks again!

Greetings,,,
This is in the software portion of the wiki:

Rick's program will allow you to see if the dongle is working. There is also RJ's program there in the Lynx, Software area.
Trying this will let you know the basic driver and hardware is working. And allows easy programming of start channels. Then you can begin to work to get Vixen working.

Sorry about the delay
I did fix the link. I didn't even know the link was in the manual. Another member put it there and it took me a while to find it
Cheers
