Title: Dongle Success
Post by: lightsup on January 16, 2010,
Yes I got my Dongle working with my first SSR4 after waiting for my Backorders to come in. so I spent the day assembling my dongle and reading all related post of how to and not to do, programmed my pic and finally at 1.42 AM Atlantic time got it working , What a felling to see light blink and dim. So now I will finish assembling my SSR4 knowing its working. This is all possible because of all the great members and moderators taking the time to help and share there experience, I thank you all .

Thanks’ for the edit.
Quick question when programming the pic chip with pickit2 do you unplug it from the USB when done or you can leave it plug and remove the chip from the zif socket board and insert another one for programming.

Greetings,,,

You should be able to program multiple pics without unplugging the usb.
