I bought 160 of these a few weeks ago at monoprice.  Iofast doesn't seem to carry the ones that I got last year.

If you are buying enough quanitity, then the price is pretty good.
It's not about more, it's about enough.

Not sure if the USA has dollars stores like us in Canada.  They have 4-6ft extension cords for 1.00.  Used 32 of them for my Mega Tree this past season and will be picking them up for my new expresses.  I used 14guage ends last year and found them to be quite heavy weight wise.

There are Dollar Tree stores in the United States (the company's web site says there are "thousands" but doesn't give generalized locations). The problem with them is that inventory is a constantly changing environment. They get a shipment of six-foot extension cords (for example) and when they're gone, they're gone. It might be six or nine months before another shipment of extension cords comes in. While I bought quite a few extension cords at Dollar Tree, I really appreciated the $1 tri-caps in both two-wire and three-wire configurations. I now have a box full of them and know that during setup, there's always the device I need.

YMMV.

I went to my Lowes last night and talked to the store manager.  I was able to get the price down to $0.74 each if I ordered by the case (50) so I bought 150 of them.  The manager said that they can't go any lower then that because they are only making $0.08 each as it is.  I should be able to pick them up at the store in about a week.
I don't think that you can get them cheaper anywhere else.

Yep. the Lowes deal was just too good to pass up...I felt guilty for taking both boxes, so I left a couple on the shelf for the rest of the neighborhood.  The cords are a funky reddish brown color, but the female ends are good rubber, not cheap hard plastic that will crack like some bargain cords.
