Halloween show - my first
« on: October 31, 2013, »
OK, this is a first effort, so be kind :-)  It's all RGB -- 5 x 128 SS, Lynx SSCs, active hub & EtherDongle.  Software is LightShow Pro 2.x.

awesome job. It is a great hobby that just keeps growing. I am sure you had quite a few people commenting how great it was.

Enjoy and be proud of it.

I found that Halloween was a good way for me to learn the sequencer and "how things work" before the "big show"...

I can't wait to see what you do for Christmas!

Exactly.  I called a "warm up" for Christmas.  I keep ordering more smart strings.  My wife says I have a "light problem" :-)

It's not a problem, it's an addiction... we all need help.

I beg to differ!  I's my WIFE who has the problem... I finally started showing her shows, and she wants two of those and one of these and ..

You did a great job, and welcome to the addition *says he who keeps ordering more hardware  ;)*

Great work! We are always our own harshest credic. I like the face matrix and the cut animations.  What was the pixel count for the matrix?

HA! I just ordered another 800 pixels after the Halloween show was put away. I have a 12 x 95 (ish leds) strand flexstrip mega tree, now i'm going to make a 16 strand (50 count) mini/mega 360degree tree. I just don't know what I'm going to do come January. I'm going to go into withdrawl!

Thanks for all the kinds words and support everyone.  The matrix I did was just 16 x 16 pixels.  I'd like to do one with higher resolution, but may wait until next year for that.  The megatree is higher priority :-)  I have 10 strings of 128 now (1280 pixels), I'm fighting the urge to order more.  Stop me before I hit "Place Order", please someone!  :-)
