ALL SOLD: Five Lynx Expresses, One Dongle PCB
« on: November 08, 2009, »
I just don't/won't have the lights to be run by these five (5) awesome LE's this year, so my deficit could be your gain.

They are 120VAC V2 boards, with heatsinks, built and tested, pics loaded with the latest firmware.  No cases, no cords.  Never used.

In the interest of helping someone just getting started, I will sell the Dongle PCB (no parts) only to someone who also buys at least one LE.

My Cost + Shipping from Bangkok, Thailand + PayPal Fees.

Shipping for one LE via Registered Airmail, 1-2 weeks, $23; via EMS (Int'l Courier like UPS, DHL) 3-5 days, $37.  Yeah... I know  :'(

PM is best.

Looking at one LE and the dongle board.  How much for these?  Might grab another LE if I can justify it.

Thanks in advance, SAM

I paid $78 for the LE's with heatsink in the coop, and $7 for the Dongle PCB.

Thanks for looking,

John

Since I use 99% LED's I have very small loads, and therefore no need for a dual power input.  Regardless of the voltage, unless you're going to run more than 20 amps, a single jumpered power in is fine.  See "Final Assembly" and "Power Information" in the LE Manual:  You are not allowed to view links. or, another thread:  You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

And now that you've hijacked my thread James....  ;D

I am new to the group.  What is the major difference between the V2 and V4 boards?

Hijacked again!   ;D ;D ;D  never mind... glad to help!

In the Wiki (green bar above,) see the Express Version Table and Info chart in the LE Manual here:  http://diylightanimation.com/wiki/index.php?title=Manual_Express

Programmed with the latest firmware, a V2 acts pretty much just like a V4, minus the "Good Power" 3 & 5V LED's, 32 resistors, and the ability to DMX Out if Wireless is added (which is also easier to add on the V4.)

Trying to decide on whether to purchase one of your V2 boards or just build new V4 boards.  Thanks for your help.

Got my boards today!!!  7 business days from Paypal to house shipped regular airmail.  Packing was done with care and impeccable.  Assembly is totally pro.  I was actually surprised to feel how heavy it was compared to what I was expecting.

I can't believe these aren't sold out yet.  For noobs trying to put a show together this year: these are FULLY ASSEMBLED including heat sink compound, TESTED, PICS PROGRAMMED.  IMO, the shipping from oversees is more than worth it.

Wish I could pick up at least one more...
