Sandy - Wet and Wild
« on: October 29, 2012, »
Hi Folks

Just to let people know. Yes the hurricane Sandy has target my area. I don't live near the shore line but NJ is not a big state by any means. I am closer to the Delaware River and across from Philadelphia PA. So far its just been a raining all day with some wind. Sandy is suppose to hit Atlantic City around 6pm.

I really appreciate all of the PMs asking if I was ok. I am hoping we don't loose electric but time will tell. Could be a "Fun" night. Lots of damage already with flooding at the shore towns and a few deaths. To pass the time, I am working on a update to the VSB program

Thanks again.

Rick R.

Hopefully other members in the path of Sandy will also post that they are OK.

I wish you well with the storm and am glad that I moved out of there.  Unlike you, I lived in Tom's River and was ony a few miles from the shore.  I wasn't in a flood zone but this storm looks bad for just about anyone near the coast.  Good luck for the next two days.

Hi Folks

A lot of people around the shore areas are without power. Lots of flood damage and sadly a few deaths. Sandy came on land at summer's point NJ close to Atlantic City. Thankfully all of my family is safe, I think one of my sister is without power (she is home with three young girls and her husband is a local police officer). We won't know for a while if my parents and two sister's shore homes received and damaged.

My thoughts and prayers go out to people who are in worst condition
