I love my wife
« on: December 12, 2011, »
She walked up to me the other day and proceeded to say "baby please dont spend more then $500 out of taxes on the lights."  I kinda grinned but know very well its gonna blow that outta the  water.. I'm not tellin her that part though.

That's a good thing( the part that you are gonna blow that outta the water). Mine is already planning our next show and I ain't even rid of the butterflies from this one yet. Go figure.
Its the most wonderful time of the year.

If you let her be involved in some aspect of the planning of the show, you can get her hooked into it, so it becomes easier to add on.  : ).   But not too involved where she sees the cost.    Hehe

I'm trying to get her involved with doing the sequences. Thats the part that sucks the most for me, she pretty much has givin me free reign over what is done and she knows its going to get bigger and bigger over time.

My wife is definitely coming around. She approves of the hobby at this point since our testing with one LE went well. She said we can make more things for next year and even suggested one of those "taller spinning trees". I just got to find a way to let her know that LED's are a bit pricey even if we pre-order them. Granted, if I use woman's intuition I can say I saved money and spend more on LED's than I planned since they are on sale.....right? > ;D

I had my wife actually helping me this year. She used to hate it, but helped with all of the set up. Now that things aren't running right, she is back to hating it again. I have not run 1 clean show yet this year and I hate that because she was coming around a little. She did however give me permission to test in July now though!  <fp.

my wife pretty much leaves it all up to me!

She enjoys the shows and talking to friends and neighbors about it.  She knows that it is something I enjoy and that it is theraputic for me;)

Occasionally, she see's a show video that I am looking at and asks if we can do that:)

She doesn't complain about the money I spend on it!

So all is good.

Someone should have told/warned me how easy it is to spend a lot of money on this stuff. Oh well it's worth it to me just to know I am making someone a little happier. And hopfully they are giving God parise for loving us enough to send his son to save us.
