The Christmas Shed
« on: February 25, 2011, »

After Christmas this year, I came to the conclusion my garage just ain't big enough to house cars and Christmas stuff. So I decided each hobby will have its own area.

Here is Coachers Christmas workshop, almost done! Just waiting for the weather to warm up enough so I can finish painting and landscape.

How are you going to fit the cars in that little shed?

it sounds kinda funny now, but can you imagine what kinda savings could be possible on a shed coop?

You make a manual for that build?   lol

Also, it's another structure to put lights on...   :o

P.S.  needs a dmx disco floor in there...

I bought the D.I.Y. kit from lowes for $889.

At first, I planned on just doing my own but I sat down with my handy-dandy calculator and crunched the numbers. I would only save around $150. and would take more time.

From start to where you see now only took 2 days. There's no way I could have done it any faster from scratch.

BTW - TuffShed this size would cost $2000.

your time is money, so you most likely saved money anyways.

Kirk, the question is not if, but when.  Here is what I did last summer.  It is 12 x 16 which was the biggest I could go and not get a building permit.  Roughly half of the floor space is all Christmas stuff plus I put two 4x8 sheets up in the "attic" and those are full as well.
