I tried the straight-on approach and she said "Sure", so I just registered us... <;d

I tried the straight approach...  I got a "we'll see.".     wow, I need to look into this straight approach more often!

Valentines Day is coming up. Do something nice for her and see if you can get the approval.

I think I'll approach it in a "Do you want to go to a Ranger's game?". Then drop the bomb after the "Why" comes out of her mouth.

I just asked my wife if she wanted to come with me.  She said yes so we are on the way.  If she doesn't like it then next year I'll be on my own and if she does....cool.

I too brought it up to the wife and she said great!  Let''s go!  I told her the date and we are scheduled to be gone that weekend already.  Won't happen next year.  When are the dates picked typically?

I(we) will be there next year.
