Regulators

After using heat sink compound on the triacs and regulators on the Expresses I built, I am in the middle of assembling a SSC. My question is, would putting heat sink compound on the regulators for the SSC harm or help their function in any way? Thanks, George

As long as it is a thin coat it won't do any harm and may actually help in heat transfer.
