How I mounted my flex strips.
« on: October 19, 2012, »
Posted this on diyc thought your guys might be interested too.

I am using 1809 flex strips on the pillars out front of my house this year. After doing some searching for a way to mount the strips I managed to find something at lowes of all places. It is 1 1/2" base channel that is used to make window screens. It is called screentight and comes in 8.25' (about). The strips fit in the middle channel nice and snugly. The product is also very flexible. It is also easy to cut, I used tin snips and it was like butter. Thought I would let you guys know in case anyone needed an idea.
