Wireless coop limit?
« on: April 27, 2010, »
Didn't know where to post this as I didn't want to clutter the wireless coop with questions.
I know the $5000 limit for the first express coop this year was waived... is this normal for first run of coops? Will this be done for the current wireless coop?

When one of the coop managers that have handled extremely large coops and many of them is doing a coop, they know they will get approved if they need it. The limit is there to protect members and new coop managers just getting their feet wet. It lets everyone learn their limits with in safe size. Everyone that has never done a coop thinks they can do the over 100,000 part coop. We just make them start smaller till they get comfortable. It really has nothing to do with first runs of coops. Most of the coops end up over $5000 now a days.
