Hey everyone,
We need to make sure anyone who is now and in the near future going to use LSP and Export to the conductor, needs to go here and cast your vote in this titled poll. It seems we've lost the ability to export to a conductor format from LSP. This is a bug. The poll is going to determined the priority ,and urgency of when this gets fixed. Personally,I think it's a disservice to lose something we already had, but I'm sure it will all work out.
Please go to vote http://www.lightshowpro.com/hardware/3062-rjs-conductor.html
Thank you,
animal

There is no intent to lose the feature only to get the proper priority assigned to it in relation to other issues. So as animal says, if you are an LSP user, please vote.
-
Which (earlier) release of LSP still worked with conductor?
Could we use the latest software to develop the sequence, and revert to the earlier version to write to the conductor format?
-
The option to export to the conductor has only been available in 2.5
-
who wants to volunteer to test some sequences converted by my tool to conductor format?
Frank
I should note that my tool only works with 2.5 sequences.

I'm up for it. My Halloween lights come down next week (and I'm not planning a Christmas one) so I can start testing as soon as my conductor arrives from the current COOP.
-
I'll give it a try!
I want to use the tool for both xlights and conductor.
Thx!
-
Ill be testing tonight frank once my kids go to bed :)
-
Note what I published so far will only export to xLights but the code is in there to export to conducter as well. Just need to add the GUI code to enable you to choose which format you want.
Or what would people say if I just export a .xseq and a .seq file and you pick the right one for your own application?

To me outputting both wouldn't be a problem, more data the better in my mind :)

Not sure what you guys are saying.
It seems like your saying the computer isn't down loading the shows to the conductor.
Thanks for all the hard work.

Or is it that only some programs will not down load?

Using LSP 2.5 I have been able to Export conductor sequences that seem to work OK with the conductor.

Are you using any layers/macros/transitions? What build do you have? Would you mind sharing a sequence that works so I can try on my machine to try on the conductor?

What version of LSP are you using. It has been verified the lastest version has a problem. It outputs all zeros.

No layers/macros/transitions. I'll lookup the build number and post it.
Currently I am just exporting animated sequences so I can scroll Halloween messages on a sign made up of 8 flex strips that have been cut in half to make 16 rows by 60 columns.

2.5.4650.19419

Very odd, just doing a simple 16 channel controller with no transitions/macros/layers. Only a few on/offs I get all zeros in the output in that same build number.
-
I have not intentions of using it, but I voted to help the group. ;)

Bill,
Are you using a LSP animated sequence, i.e. no music?
Are the sequences LSP 2.5 or are they being imported from another format, e.g. Vixen or LSP 1.x and then being exported to the Conductor?

Happy to test as well.

I would like the sounds and lights to work with at least one program.
It would be a shame not to use DLA this year.
I have no other way of controlling the lights.

They are LSP animated sequences, no music.
No imports they are created inside of LSP and then exported to the conductor format.
-
Interesting. I will have to try using animation vs music. I have the same build and all I get is a file of zeros. It was working with an earlier build.
-
Last night I created a simple single controller 30 second animated sequence, i.e. no music, then created a Conductor export and the file contained all zeros. I tried configuring the controller output as both E1.31 and PixelNet but the resulting file was always zeros either way. I have the same build as Bill, 2.5.4650.19419.
Bill, can you provide more information about your configuration?
Thanks
Denny

Start a new animation sequence using a single Pixel net controller with 960 channels of RGB. Using the draw channels option on the controller to create a matrix of 16 rows by 60 colums on the preview screen. Once LSP has created a grid, I select a section of time and then select create animation sequence using the before created grid. Using the frame animator the animation is created frame by frame. After generating and then previewing an export to Conductor is done. It lists my single pixel controller that I then select and then finish the export.
