I am not as fast as the rest of you who already have your shows up, but I did just finish assembling and testing 4 Aether IIs.
I ended up using a passive hub to feed them power and signal, only 1 Aether II per port.
Thanks to everyone who assembled your Aether IIs before me. Your tips and tricks were most helpful to prevent me from having issues during and after assembly.
All I have to say is WOW they are bright! 8)

The AetherII is a 12VAC device, not DC. While it may work on DC, it is probably not recomended to continue to use it that way.

Nor do they run on Pixelnet... I am confused as to how you have this working...

The passive hub doesn't care what signal you send thru it. If you hook it up to a USB dongle flashed with DMX, then it will send out DMX thru the 4 ports on the first pair.

RJ said don't run more than one per port.
I am running regular DMX into the pixelnet port as Tom said but feeding the 12 VAC into the DC Positive and negative in on the Passive Hub.
Then you have to make sure the Cat5 end at the Aether is wired correctly or it could be sparky and smokey.
I used the wire pattern from the SSC to know which side was which. The only concern brought up from the other thread was that the Passive hub has 5amp fuses and the Aether has 7amp.
I also only wired 1 cat5 for input into each Aether so I cant daisy chain. I also bought different colored Cat5 cables (red) that I only use for the Aethers to help prevent the accidental plugging into the wrong port issue.
