Title: plastic rectangles...
Post by: chrisatpsu on October 18, 2011,
When connecting plastic rectangles to the ssc, should I ignore the the colors, and hook up + to +, - to -, and data to data in?   It might sound like a stupid question, but I want to get it right before i apply power. With using the connectors from ray, I have the ssc connected as in the manual, but to line up the wires from the plastic rectangles to the 3 wire connector, I'd have to switch the blue and the green to get the - and data to connect to the same on the ssc.

If you look in the Wiki, the rectangle nodes are wired Red +, Blue - and Green Data. This should match what is printed on the circuit board of the node.

I would not pay so much attention to the colors and be sure to match the +, - and data on the node PCB to the +, - and data on the SSC PCB.
