Here is a laugh, had to change out a string on my mega tree. Half of the tree is in standing water. To answer last year question, I do run in the rain and a big puddle.

Jess, do you other pic of the mega tree? I will be doing one next year and want to get as many idea's as I can. If anyone else has daytime pics of there trees and would like to share that would be great.

Uncle Buck you should look at the building the Monkman Jump Pole.  It is the 4th megatree pole I have built and it will be the last.  One of the best things I ever did and really makes putting up my tree easy.  Not cheap to build, but the older I get the more I like easy!!!  This is one solid pole and does not even use guy wires at the top.  I think I could even lean a ladder against the pole and it won't tip over, but I am not going to try that.  LOL  Wish I had built it at iteration 2 of my poles.
