light storage idea
« on: January 12, 2013, »
go to your local cable office, find out where the warehouse is that their installers work out of  and ask them for their empty cable reels. ask them for old rg-6 and rg-11 reels.   i am sure an electrical contractor might have some empty reels as well. i was in the industry for ten years so i just called a friend and he brought me a few more by  and is bringing me more next week. for example, i was able to roll up 40 strings of c-6 leds on one rg-11 reel and it will take up 18''x14'' of storage. rg-6 will be 11.5''x13'' of space. works out awesome!!

I use some cheap wood spools for all my C7s, they work great!
