Title: SSR4 Case Screws
Post by: inzeos on November 04, 2011,
I picked up some sheet metal #8 x 1/2" screws I believe for mounting the expresses in their recommended cases.

I thought these would also work for the SSR4 cases; however, there is not enough grip from the screw to the pre-drilled holes of the cases.

Any recommendations?  Other wise I figure it's time to just go up a size, not sure if that means a #9 or a #7 :)

Sizes frequently go up by even numbers, so you would be looking at a 10. All about screws

The screws that mount cooling fans in your PC are perfect.  I save screws and fortunately I had enough to do all my ssr4's.  They are short, fat and have course threads.
