Title: Power supply deal?
Post by: deplanche on November 26, 2014,
Two questions...

Will this work for powering the Smart String Hubs or Zues? (Zueses, Zuesi, Zees - not sure what the plural would be)
Is this a good deal or is there something better/cheaper out there?

yes that supply would work, I found one from new egg that was 350 watts for 14 dollars. I only use it for my test hub that stays in the garage but it works fine. it really depends on how many watts you will need to run your nodes/strips. as long as it is a single rail atx supply with the 24 pin connector and the extra 3 12v connectors.

I just got an evga 430w  from Amazon to power a lightly loaded zeus .... It works great and is very silent.   I paid $38 but this is a better deal.   Amazin shipped free 2 day with prime.
