Country of Origin for Keptel's

Can anyone tell me the country of origin of the CG-1500 and TA-200's?  Is Keptel a USA company?  For whatever reason, I could not find definitive information on the web.

While Keptel was once a stand-alone company (I think), it is now a brand (Keptel Cable Guard, which is where we get the CG) sold by AFL Telecommunications Inc., itself a division of the fiber-optic company AFL, which while owned by  Fujikura Ltd. of Japan, is based in the United States.

More importantly, the little sticker inside the TA-200 sitting here on my desk says:

Country of origin: USA
