Standalone Wireless Case Model
«
on:
June 30, 2010, »
I have searched the Wiki and the thread and this info did not jump out at me.
For the Standalone Tx & Rx units. What case is used? The same as the Dongle?
Also, is there any dimensions avail for the holes that need to be cut?
Thanks!

I had trouble finding the info too and somebody pointed me to the BOM on the wiki:

If nobody has the dimensions, I can measure my Polycase cases that came from the coop last year.

You might also consider using a CG-1000? from your broadband store. The reason being that you could mount the board inside and also put the wall wart inside protecting it from any weather dampness. Just a thought. I know of at least one person who uses these as his TX is mounted way out in the middle of his yard.

Great input! Thanks Guys! I like the CG-1000 solution to have it all enclosed.
